I didn't go to Day 1, didn't really have interest. But i kinda wish i went because i heard it was amazing.

A lot of things happened on day 1; first of all, the bands were great, from what i heard. The bands that played were;
DuelJewel, Kagrra, alice nine, miyavi, Vidoll.
Yoshiki from X-Japan showed up as well, it was also announced that this summer 2007, Miyavi+Gackt+Yoshiki will be playing together somewhere(apparently at animecon)

Random notes:
-Yoshiki gave hot chocolate to ppl out in the cold waiting in line for day 2.
-Yoshiki is nice guy.

Day 2:
I went with my friend Edwin. We drove up to riverside the night before to stay with my good friend Matt. We didn't leave for L.A until about 11 or something. On the ride there, i kinda freaked out(a lot) because i thought i left my tix at home. but they magically(YES MAGICALLY) appeared in the back seat.. .. . .. . . wtf.
We get there around 1 or something, the line was pretty long already. There was no way we were getting in the pit. I met up with a friend i met through myspace, Judy who drove to L.A from arizona o_o.... thats .. a lot of driving.

We hung out for a couple hours with her friends. During this time i felt really shitty and sick. I donno what was wrong with me, probably the previous late night and waking up hella early. There was a lot of interesting people that i saw when we walked up and down the line. A lot of mixes, some where really gross. .. . . some were pretty cool. We split up a bit later and went somewhere to chill. Came back at like 5, and then ate. Stayed in line again. The line moved suprisingly fast compared to the last time i was at the Wiltern(when i saw Dir En Grey). The security at the wiltern is so shitty, i couldve probably brought in a knife in if i wanted to. They don't even check you(this time). at this point only Edwin and I were together, i donno what happened to judy o_o. I got pretty good placing in the pit, since im kinda tall i can see past people, I dont think edwin could see, i felt pretty bad. Waiting for the show to start was exhausting, they had X-Japan "The Last Live" DVD playing on a big screen in front of a curtain while we waited. The show finally started.

Merry:
Merry was a great opening band, they looked really stylish. The spokesperson for this band was the drummer, nero. They put on a really good show, the vocalist was really creepy. Kept drooling on himself. and humping the mic. O_o.

Girugamesh:
This band put on a great show as well. I actually enjoyed this show a lot. They really got the crowd worked up. Tom(arlieth) was right behidn me o_o. i was really suprised to see him even though he said he would be there. He apparently showed up last minute, when i had to wait 5 hours for my spot -_-. I really liked Giru's last song "Volcano" that's a really catchy song

Random Note:
- There was this big ass girl in front of me with long gross hair that smelt terrible. You can imagine how shitty the show got when she started headbanging, ugh gross. Thank god she didnt headbang during MUCC.

DespairsRay:
alright, this sounds harsh but, despairs ray was boring. I wasnt really interested. I kinda came to see them, but yeah, not that good. The guitarist played almost exactly like Die from dir en grey. The way he puts his leg up on the speaker and headbangs, vocalist evn had a fur coat and finger gloves like Kyo...... wtf. They played for a really long time, their last song was like 18 minutes long czu they kept repeating the chorus 100 times. But they did good, im not hating on them at all.

Intermission with Yoshiki:
yoshiki showed up along with a spinning disco ball. The fans were really disrespectful here. Yoshiki was trying to speak, and i couldnt hear what he was saying because everyone screaming I LOVE YOU YOSHIKI!!!!! Well, whatever he said, it was along the lines of "thanks for coming" and "i love you too"

MUKKUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

The moment of truth! the reason why i came to Jrock Revolution at all. IS because of this amazing band. MUCC!! It started out by playing their PV and MUCC 666 DVD on the big screen. then everything went pitch black. The curtains rised, it was a blue scenery. And then Gokusai Instrumental played, and Satochi walked up, followed by Yukke, then Miya. then finally Tatsurou. the MUCC symbol displayed and GOKUSAI started to play. I went nuts! They played and played. And occasionally stopped to speak to the fans in English. Tatsurou's english is pretty damn good. Sadly, MUCC only played about 8 songs or something. It was well worth it. They didnt seem too energetic as they usually would be in their other lives. The whole band usualyl spends time by speaking to us 1 on 1, but i dont think they did, because we are not japanese. All in all, it was such a great show, and i hope to see them once again soon. <3 MUKKU!

Setlist (as best as i can remember):
1. Intro
2. Gokusai
3. Rojiura Boku To Kimi E
4. Saishuu Ressha
5. Deioji
6. 25toki no Yuutsu
7. Kuukyo na Heya
8. Ryuusei

I feel like i left out a song...Anyone who went, let me know if im right!

PS:
even though, i am not a fan of X Japan(I've never tried them out, i know, i know, I really ought to. And I will.) Reading up on X Japan, going through Yoshiki's blogs... I feel so sad. I feel his pain about the loss of X Japan and the loss of Hide. Yoshiki is the most down to earth person i have ever seen... I actually have a hero now. And that is Yoshiki. I read an interview on Yoshi, and X japans lives seem so dramatic. Almost unreal. It has given me a new perspective on life. I also watched a video on the report of Hide's death. And it saddened me so much. I have not felt this sad in so long. It has been done with, and i know it's over but... we can not forget hide, no one ever will. I have so much more respect for X Japan and their members. I hope they live on well. I hope they are all doing well.

X Japan, Forever.

Dir en grey @ The Wiltern

I went to see Dir en grey at Los Angeles at The Wiltern with my friend Justin. So yeah the plan was to leave early and get there 2 hours or something early. But traffic, and getting lost, fucked us up. L.A traffic is fucking terribbleee, but yeah we got there at 6 pm(when doors open, apparently). The line was soo god damn long, it stretched about 3 blocks away, and took us 1.5 hours to get in. While in line, there were a lot of people that really pissed me off. For instance, this fuckin wanna-be bad ass throwing shit at passing cars, including rocks and full soda cans.

I was also suprised to find that only like 20 people had REAL jrock haircuts instead of those fake-ass hot topic dyes and shitty hair. Bleh.

Opening Bands:

Bleed The Dream:
Heard like 1/2 of their last song, frankly didnt really care about them.

Fair to Midland:
This band was suprsingly good. They sounded like Tool, but with a little emo-ness to them. Not saying i like emo, but the way he rocked out was funny. He does that emo dance shit. Oh yeah nigga ripped his hair out too, it was crazy, hence why he had a bald spot on his right side of his head. I liked their songs, i want to download some. theyre good overall.

The wait for dir en grey was so stressful. People were getting really agitated.  They went fuckin nuts when the jp people came out for sound test. it was pretty dumb. but i guess thats how it is when youre really pumped to see diru.

Finally!!! DIR EN GREY G.D.S starts to pump and people are insane now, everyone is pushing. but yeah i didnt let anyone pass me. they're all weak wimps. haha. Dir en grey comes out, and this is when the shit starts......:(btw i dont remember the order of the set list, but i remember all the songs they played)

They played The Fatal Believer first and i was going insane. I think everyone was. I was pretty close to the band(15 ft or so? Which is incredible since everyone was way behind us and on the 2nd floor!), i was in the middleish, more to the right.. So i got a perfect view of Die and Kyo, Karou and Toshiya kinda far. But i got to see my 2 favorites haha. Die is fuckin tight. I like his hair O_o.  Im glad they played this song, its one of my favorites off the new album.
The song that people went crazy for the most were: The final, Shokubeni(atleast i was), Fatal Believer, Clever Sleazoid, Obscure, and probably the new songs off the album.
Oh yeah, the first 15 minutes i went a little overboard, and i almost passed out. I was jumping up, literally, trying to gasp for air. It was pretty bad, but after a few songs i settled dowsn a bit and got crazy again. It was such a great show. Diru looks really good live, they look a lot better in videos and shit. Kyo's voice doesnt suck as much either, on recordings his voice is kinda shitty but live, its amazing.

if you have any questions ill be glad to answer them here ;]

Crazy ass show! i loved it, cant wait to see them again. This was un-fucking-believable. My throat is out. It hurts like a bitch. My neck is fucked up. My back too, and my legs are aching, but its all worth it. I had a great time, and would do anything to see them again. I was so close to getting toshiyas bass pick and shinyas drum stick damn it. oh well.. =[.  I bought some merchandise, they had some pretty cool shit. They had a t-shirt for Inward Scream 07, its of a boy screaming, it looked like a girl though. Theme from "Agitated" video. The other was of a Bull, but it looks like a frog, and it says DIR EN GREY on it, and its got tour dates on teh back. They had a wrist band, a dog chain, a poster(1 in 4 are signed), and CDs for sale.

I bought the Bull tshirt, A poster, and a dog chain(all paid for when i got 2nd place at cal poly hoho). The dog chain is pretty tight, ima start wearing this shit, did anyone else get this? What the hell is the circle rubber for? Does that go around the tag? O_o...

Questions?!  I KNOW YOU HAVE ONE EDWIN.
